jpos.config.simple.xml.SimpleXmlRegPopulator isn't working in 1.15.4

I'm not exactly sure what the issue is here. 1.15.3 works fine. My jpos.xml is not loading on newer versions

My jpos.xml file is specified by System.setProperty(JposPropertiesConst.JPOS_POPULATOR_FILE_PROP_NAME, customJposFile.absolutePath)

My jpos.properties is:

jpos.loader.serviceManagerClass=jpos.loader.simple.SimpleServiceManager
jpos.config.regPopulatorClass=jpos.config.simple.xml.SimpleXmlRegPopulator

What changed in 1.15.4 that could cause this to break? It seems like perhaps the change of XML parsers has caused some issue?

Maybe, this is the same as the defect the PR JavaPOSWorkingGroup/javapos-config-loader#13 tries to solve.

There is already a new release candidate with a fix available. Could you, maybe, give it a try? Just download the release candidate from the Sonatyp's OSS snapshot repository and put it in your class path before the javapos.jar.

BTW, could you please correct the title of this issue? The issue is in 1.15.4, isn't?

Sorry, that was a bit of an ambiguous title. I was trying to say it was working in 1.15.3 but wasn't working since then.

I tried adding a dependency on the javapos-config-loader snapshot. It doesn't seem to change the config loader used. Thanks for your help. I'll stick with 1.15.3 until a fix release comes out.

Did you put it in the class path before the javapos.jar?
That's important, to shadow the javapos-config-loader classes in the javapos.jar.

Otherwise, can you provide a minimal example?

So with the snapshot, everything seems to be working as expect.

Remains to release it and then to push a new javapos release. :-)
