I would like to contribute and create two PRs for you. The first (this one is ready if you want it) makes the project compatible with Python up to the latest 3.14 while keeping your floor of 3.10. It additionally has some compatibilty optimizations when using with Docker and fixes two crashes/bugs.
The second one would be focused on usability from the perspective of a software dev, not a scientist, so sane defaults, optics, button alignments, windows not opening out of frame, some nice padding, consistent element distances and such. It wouldn't change any core functionality, just make it more approachable. Is this something you are interested in?
