Missing part of "difference" grammar pattern in Section 2: Lexical Structure

The line:
pattern1 difference; elements of pattern1 except those of pattern2

Seems to be missing - pattern2 or something similar. Also, I didn't notice the difference pattern in usage in the grammar spec.
