[BUG] Unspecified error displayed at bottom (Windows 11 only)

2.9.7 (specifically on Windows 11)

Expected Behavior:
Error message should not display

Actual Behavior:
A clear description of what actually happened.
"An error occurred. An error occurred" always appears at the bottom.
