White Space below the parent item. How to fix this

Could you please advise if there is a way to fix white space in the place of expanded view. I copied all components from your sample for recyclerview and when I tried running it I got this error
. I get the same white space for text view too.

I found what it it is. Since I had no idea at initial stage how things work here I thought there might be a issue. The actual issue is android:layout_height="match_parent" given for linear_layout for imageview and textview. I changed it to Wrap_Content and its working now. Thank you!
