Weather info does not update when changed to another location of the same name

Describe the bug

When I enter "Darlington", it selects Darlington, UK. I then specify Darlington, South Carolina, USA and it accepts the city. However, it does not update the weather information for the new location even when refreshing. Only after force stopping the app does it switch to the new location

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Enter Darlington in the city text box
2. Enter Darlington, SC, US in the city text box
3. Weather does not update from Darlington, UK to Darlington, SC, US

Expected behavior
The weather updates upon selecting new city
