I'm not 100% sure what is going on exactly, but whenever LBP1 freezes up and I'm forced to shut down my ps3 while the game is still running, it somehow breaks Refresher's ability to connect to the custom servers. Adding onto it, it doesn't start on launch at all, no notification until I revert the patch then patch it again.
