I would like to compare and contrast how vulgar different Project Gutenberg texts are. I plan to do this by counting the number of curse words in each text. To determine which words are curse words, I will use a curse word list/dataset from Kaggle located at https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/nicapotato/bad-bad-words. The texts I will compare will be Ulysses and Dubliners, both by James Joyce (Ulysses is known as being particularly vulgar). I also plan to compare Ulysses and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
