A scenario where a device vendors supports mandatory Alarm Limits on Analogue Points but optional Alarm Limits on Extension Points seems sensible.
But the current Device Profile does not allow this to be expressed.

The minObjects/maxObjects shown under the analogueLimits class are applicable for both Analogue and ExtensionPoints.
The ParentTypes : ["analogue"] appears to allow Alarm Limits to be constrained for one or more point type only, but this does not allow a different minObjects/maxObjects to be applies based on parent point type.
