Another potential target for Universal Components is LuneOS who also have their own set of QML Components (https://github.com/webOS-ports/luneos-components) based off QtQuick.Controls.

Might be a good idea to flag this project to some LuneOS developers to help get mobile Qt developers to support their platform

Being based on Controls could help a lot - Silica using its own inventions in that are similar but still considerably different is serious pain in the ass in some cases. :)

Definitely! But I'm afraid I don't really know them and would probably not know who to reach out. But I guess something like little advertising on a mailing list could be a good start.

BTW, and idea what devices support LuneOS ? I still have the HP TouchPad, but as I'm currently using it for testing UC & modRana on Android I can't really do a full reflash if that is required.

Looks like the HP Touchpad is among them, but im not sure if you can do a dualboot or otherwise keep your android install intact without doing a full backup and restore

I spoke to some of the guys in #webos-ports and it seems like its maybe a bit premature for such things, and they allow the use of QtQuick.Controls anyway so its not really a net gain.

But they're aware of the project now, so maybe sometime in the future
