Touch and Back Gesture Unresponsive After Partial Recent Apps Swipe with Hidden Gesture Bar

The issue only occurs when I hide the gesture bar. If I partially drag the current window toward the recent apps panel (without fully entering it) and then drag it back, the screen becomes unresponsive to touch and the back gesture stops working. However, the problem is resolved if I fully enter the recent apps screen or go to the home screen. This doesn’t happen when the gesture bar is visible.

Have you tried enabling the coloring fix option to see if it helps? Fully hiding the nav bar will always introduce some weird quirks as Android doesn't expect its size to be zero.

No, I haven't tried that yet.
I'm still not sure what's causing the issue.
Previously, I was using version 27.7 instead of the latest one because I was facing the problem with the latest version. At that time, 27.7 worked fine. But after I clean flashed a custom ROM, the issue started happening even with 27.7. I tried different flashing options, but the problem only appeared when I fully hid the gesture bar.
Today, I decided to try an even older version—27.5—and so far, I’m not facing the issue with this one.
