Pairing a Xbox 360 controller to Chinese Xbox 360 dongle requires a manual RP2040 reset before controller input is forwarded to the console. Version v1.0.0a8 works as expected. I've tested the all the main releases after that and they all need a RPi reset before the controller is actually connected.
I'm using Waveshare RP2040-One with Chinese Xbox 360 dongle in OG Xbox. I haven't tested with original MS dongle. RP2040-One uses PI_PICO firmware.
For me this is particularly annoying since I've buried RP2040-One inside the 360 dongle housing which has only the pairing button exposed.
