Unable to install MikeTeX on windows 11 platform

I have tried many, many times to install MiKTex on a windows 11 platform and I now need help. I have tried both modes of installation: single user and multiple users -- always get errors. Before each attempted installation I have removed ALL traces of MiKTex.

I do get to the point where I can access the console and then do the updates. Then after all the updates are successful I ALWAYS get errors. I have looked at many suggested solutions (including those at


GitHub for MikTeX) and none have worked for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and I can provide info on the different errors that I have received.

I have been using MikTeX with TexStudio and Texmaker for several years but now when I tried the latest release I never succeeded .
