Cannot import ContosoHotDesking_1_0_0_0.zip

Following instructions from 'Task 1' at
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/training/modules/reduce-complexity-dataverse-table/4-exercise
but cannot import the solution, fails at the connections dialog.

Error message:
A timeout occurred while loading the connections picker. Widget ID: '915fe45a-83e5-434a-ba83-54bd-db81a5b5'
The connections could not be loaded. Please try again later.

Multiple attempts across different times does not fix anything.

The ContosoHotDesking_1_0_0_0.zip file was last uploaded 4 years ago, could this mean it is subject to the Jan 2024 change for
securing implicit connections? If so, the solution needs to be republished for anyone to use it (with newer Power Apps portal UI).

The solution can be successfully imported by using the 'Switch to classic' option.
