Bun 1.2+ has matured significantly. A skill pack covering Bun-specific patterns would be valuable:
- Bun.serve() vs Express/Fastify comparison
- Bun SQLite (built-in) usage patterns
- Bun test runner (Jest-compatible but faster)
- Bun shell scripting (tagged templates)
- Package management differences from npm/pnpm
Why
Bun adoption is growing fast, especially for new projects. The runtime-specific patterns differ enough from Node.js that a dedicated skill pack would save significant time.
