It looks like bcl-convert support has been integrated in checkQC, so I might take a stab at this.

Hi @lbeltrame! I'm sorry about the late response, sick leave and holidays got in the way.

Adding support for another sequencer type should be similar to what you did here: #119
The run type recognizer part of CheckQC works the same way now and does not depend on the demultiplexer.
