Not sure why that would happen, please post the log file with the service crash. |

I'm currently running the 0.11.0.2 beta (the most recent release) and I believe that when I originally downloaded it, it was that release. I reinstalled just now and hopefully that will help. This log seems fine, did you the heavy load at around 20:48 to make it go into rainbow mode? |

I do not have that set in the config, what section would I put that under / where do I place that in the code? Also I'm not really sure what you mean about 20:48, I may have shut off my computer...would that have done it? Otherwise I have no idea. |

Search for
Time in the log. You said that the service was possibly crashing while you are doing heavy tasks so I asked if you did anything special at that time. |

Hey Moshi, I checked my Config and found that I already have an "IgnoreColorCache" in my code so idk what else I should do. Should I be adding another line of code with ignorecolorcache or is what I'm dealing with really just unexplainable...? I can post my config here if you need. Thanks again.

Ok I just turned on my computer today and it didn't even change the color to red. It just stayed rainbow. Normally doing a fresh restart or turning on the computer from scratch will always have it work but not this time. I can see that the service is running in task manager and I even go into the service and stop and then start it again...but nothing. It just stays rainbow. I'm really confused by what's happening and it's fairly annoying. I really could use some help. Thank you. |

Config is ok, not sure what is causing your issues, the controller might just be faulty. |

I have the exact same issue. I have two controllers, a quad and a trio and both behave the same way. I see this thread is a year old, any progress on this? Anything I can do or try? |

Hey Moshi,
I've recently found that sometimes my fans just randomly turn back to rainbow instead of red. I can't tell if the whole service is stopping (like the fan rpms and ramp up speeds) but it is still quite annoying.
I've also found that I can forcefully make it do this by rendering something or streaming over discord or on YouTube.
Do you know why rendering and streaming may be interfering with the service? It seems kind of odd that those things would somehow interfere with the code of my fans...
