WhatsApp Web is not loading QR Code

Hallo,
since WhatsApp web for FireFox is available I added it as WebApp Tab but it is never loading the QR code.
Any idea how to solve that?

I'm not seing anything obvious and I'm afraid I no longer work on WebApp Tabs

too bad anyway. It should show up the QR code (see below) but it just endless loading.
It may uses some special kind of connection with the WhatsApp server what is not natively supported by Thunderbird.
Can you recommend anything for proper debuging/troubleshooting so I can my solve it by my own.

All I can suggest is using Firefox's devtools to see how it is loaded. I briefly looked and didn't see anything obvious but my guess would be websockets which may well not be enabled in Thunderbird.
