Hello there, I'm writing this now following an hour or so of me trying and retrying to make the Colab work, before finally giving up. It's strange because it was working just yesterday! I don't know what happened but my suspicion is on the "latest changes" that are now visible on the Colab page.

So for my first try, I ticked the "Latest Webui", "Latest Extensions", and "Colab Optimizations" options and loaded up my models, except when I finally tried to actually generate stuff, the 'generate' button just wouldn't do anything. (This is without ticking 'hires fix' or 'fix faces' or using any LoRAs, hypernetworks, or anything)

Literally, I click generate, it then says "waiting..." and after a minute the generate button comes back on and nothing happens. Same story on the Colab Cell side of things: I check on it and nothing's happened. It's like it didn't even attempt to work. After that, when I click 'generate' again, not even "waiting..." shows up. I'm completely stumped. I tried to use a different commit hash and that didn't work either (I honestly don't even know which one to use). I tried without ticking the "Latest Webui" option, still nothing.

I wish the Colab Cell would just give me an error to screenshot, but nothing... (When I change the model or VAE, it says "loading weights" and "weighs loaded" so I KNOW some things are working. The only thing that doesn't work is the 'generate' button)

If anyone can help, please, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you. (Edited to fix some mistakes)

Can confirm, also having the exact same problem with the Generate button. I can't create any output images anymore. Tried going back two commits, but that didn't work. Tried reverting the whole Colab back to the previous version, also didn't work. Waiting a few seconds after clicking the big blue Generate button doesn't work. It doesn't seem to be connecting to the Colab. Something updated and broke it, but not sure what. Back when the UI was orange-themed, it was working fine…. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Also having the same problem here, however, after disabling nearly every extension from within the webui on the extensions tab (including the theme related extensions, catpuccin, not sure which is causing this problem or not) and then restarting it started to generate properly for about 7-9 images before breaking again. Edit: Just refreshing the page a few times after that made it work once again

@peppopi @meguminkun @genialgenteel NoCrypt has now updated the Colab page to include a warning that pretty much confirms the issue to be with the latest commit. It also advises users to wait 2-3 seconds after generating an image before generating new ones? Which I don't understand because we can't generate anything in the first place lol.

In any case, I've looked and I've found a different working Colab using an earlier, more stable commit and copied it. Here it is; "a9fed7c364061ae6efb37f797b6b522cb3cf7aa2" Put this in the 'commit_hash' box.

(FYI: The theme will be pinkish in color, which I personally don't like, but it beats not being able to use the Colab at all. Also, it says that the Canvas Zoom might not work properly because it needs the latest version of the WebUI, but otherwise, everything else looks to be working fine.)

You can use this for now until the issues with the new commit get fixed. (Hopefully soon)

Hi y'all. Sorry for very late response.
I was looking for the solution to the "waiting..." bug without using old commits, and it seems I've found it.
Currently testing the fix, will update the colab as soon as possible!
