v2.0 release/scope? #165

Hey @RyanHavoc & @hankchizljaw,
I wanted to ask you, if you've had the time to think about or plan the release date and scope of v2.0. If I understand correctly, your plans were to release v2.0 before keep adding new features to the v1.*
In that spirit I started working on #129, for you to at least have one thing less to worry about before releasing v2.0. I do think that the feature freeze in v1.* would make releasing v2.0 the highest priority (besides critical bugs in v1, obviously).
Is there someway I could help out with this?
