No insert cd

Thanks for the effort but the Audio can't be initialized. An error saying:"no insert cd". I have only connected DataIn and Clock. As you stated the Pin DataOut is removed. Are you really sure that this pin shouldn't be connected? Because I think that Rcd200 needs this pin connected to know that something is connected. Could you help me on this? Thxs.

PD: Checking closed issues I've noticed that you recommend to connect the cd ground to the main ground ( metal covers) I'll give a try tomorrow 🙏

Hi, I no longer have the car to test but will cleanup and try improve the code today for you with the help of some AI and a data analyser. IIRC, the detection issue comes from the first packet being missed so I will try come up with a solution for this perhaps a small web interface you can set repeat times on and test for me?

Yes DataOut is unnecessary, it is used to send button presses from radio unit to cd changer so was only needed when I had the flakey music changing feature. I left it disconnected for months and always used radio case as ground too.

Also make sure the microcontroller has ample power, iirc someone else said that the logic level of the radio was 5v and the esp32 is 3.3v so sometimes a HIGH could be missed if voltage is a bit lower. Testing with a 3.3v to 5v logic level converter or using an MCU with a 5v may be more stable but I never had a chance to try it.

Also ensure you are on cd changer mode and not cd mode (switched by pressing cd button again). If you see no cd changer that is the right mode, if it isn't accessible and your car didnt come with a cd changer your radio may have the mode disabled and you will have to enable it with VCDS or similar.

cleanup is an AI aided rewrite which should have better protocol handling, add-keyboard extends that to add the bluetooth control back allowing the radio buttons to change your music via BLE keyboard (will need the DataOut pin).

Haven't been able to test the BLE keyboard functionality without a radio, but the new version is a lot better timing wise and should produce much more reliable results as can be seen in my logic analyser captures. Give the new version a go with the new pinouts once you get CD Changer mode activated
