NuttidaLab Code of Conduct

NuttidaLab is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members of our research community. We strive to foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity, and to ensure that all individuals are treated with dignity and respect.

To promote these values, we have established the following Code of Conduct for all members of NuttidaLab:

Expected Behavior

  • Treat all members of the NuttidaLab community with respect and dignity, regardless of their backgrounds, identities, or opinions.
  • Refrain from engaging in any form of discrimination or harassment, including but not limited to discrimination or harassment based on race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or religion.
  • Maintain confidentiality of research data and other sensitive information, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other members of the NuttidaLab community in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Provide constructive feedback and criticism, and be open to receiving feedback and criticism in turn.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable in the NuttidaLab community:

  • Discrimination, harassment, or intimidation of any kind, including but not limited to discrimination or harassment based on race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or religion.
  • Physical or verbal abuse, threats, or intimidation.
  • Inappropriate or non-consensual physical contact.
  • Bullying, hazing, or other forms of aggressive behavior.
  • Discrimination or harassment based on the perceived or actual affiliation with a particular laboratory, research project, or funding source.
  • Retaliation against individuals who report violations of this Code of Conduct or who participate in investigations of such violations.

Reporting Violations

If you believe that someone has violated this Code of Conduct, or if you have been the victim of discrimination, harassment, or other unacceptable behavior, please report the incident to a member of the NuttidaLab leadership team. All reports will be taken seriously and will be investigated promptly and thoroughly.

Consequences of Violations

Any member of the NuttidaLab community who violates this Code of Conduct may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of their affiliation with the lab. Disciplinary action will be taken on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the severity and nature of the violation, the impact on the community, and any mitigating circumstances.
