Setting up a dynamic MIS Report with Budgets

Hello everybody,

I am currently trying to set up a MIS Report in Odoo Community v16 and would greatly appreciate any input from your side.

Two question came up in my trials:
a) how to make dynamic cost center reports with the MIS builder (Budget vs Actual). The goal is to display one row for each cost center, and three columns: actuals, budget, and variance (budget minus actuals).
b) whether there can also be a column “comitted”? Similar to how it works in Odoo Enterprise v18 where at the end you can compare so Budget vs Committed vs Actual Amounts.

Moving this to discussions, as this is not an issue.

Dynamic KPIs by cost center is not possible at the moment. There are discussions about that in #115 and linked issues. In short this requires a big refactoring which I'm willing to do but no-one has funded it yet. If the OCA crowdfunding platform becomes a reality I'll likely propose this.

In the meantime, if you cost centers are now in advance, you can manually create KPIs or columns (with filters).
