Vision

Make it easy to show Home Assistant data in the physical home by displaying it on simple, low-power screens, including e-ink, using devices.

How to measure:

• Clear, supported patterns for displaying HA data via ESPHome
• Reusable components for common display use cases

Stretch goals:

• Displaying data requires minimal custom code
• Configuration is approachable for non-expert users
• Multiple screen types are supported, including e-ink
• Community examples and reuse of display patterns
• Contributors build display devices using the same approach
