Wiki: Consider updating ExperimentDesign page

Is the Experiment Creator tool still widely used? Perhaps we can also (or instead) link to the simple R and Python pipelines and explain how to use them to generate XMLs.

Is the Experiment Creator tool still widely used?

Not sure, but I doubt it.

• The website where users could download the tool appears to discontinued the service which was hosting the experiment creator releases in 2021.
• The tool does not appear to be maintained.

I am in favour of:

1. Gathering a little more info to check the tool is not important to known users of OpenMalaria.
2. If it seems unlikely anyone is still using the experiment creator tool, then deleting all mention of it from the wiki and adding a link to example R/Python pipelines as @chitrams suggests.

One thing to consider is there are many old, unmaintained applications related to OpenMalaria. It may be less bothersome to users, and save time for developers, to ask about a whole bunch of those tools at once.

I don’t know anyone who is using these tools either. I'm ok with removing all mentions of the experiment creator tool as a first step.
