OpenRouter ChatRoom vs API #64

Hey there! I’ve run into a confusing issue with the Nano Banana Pro (Gemini 3 Pro Image Preview) model on OpenRouter and was hoping someone could help me out.
I used the exact same reference image and prompt for two different calls: one directly in OpenRouter’s ChatRoom interface, and the other via the OpenRouter API. But the generated results are super different—like night and day levels of discrepancy.
I’m guessing this might be due to different default parameters being applied in the ChatRoom vs. the API (like image resolution scaling, prompt weighting, or generation settings that I’m not seeing in the UI). Does anyone know what the default parameters are for the ChatRoom version of this model? Or is there something I’m missing in my API request to match the ChatRoom output?
