Flavian Roadmap — Where We're Headed

Hey everyone — this post lays out where Flavian is headed. I'll keep it updated as priorities shift.

What is Flavian?

Flavian is a Claude Code-integrated WordPress development framework. It gives you a clean project structure, FSE block theme scaffolding, automated security auditing, a Figma-to-WordPress conversion pipeline, and 45 custom Claude Code agents purpose-built for WordPress development. It's open source under MIT.

Current State (v1.0.0)

We shipped the initial public release on March 17, 2026. It includes:

• Docker-based local WordPress environment
• FSE block theme scaffold with design token system
• Claude Code integration via CLAUDE.md and .claude/ configuration
• Figma-to-WordPress conversion scripts
• Automated theme validation CI workflow (PHPCS, security scans, block markup)
• 45 custom agents spanning meta/ops, business, marketing/social, and engineering categories
• 6 PostToolUse hooks adapted for WordPress (theme token guard, coverage check, dark mode reminder, bundle size guard, mutation testing, post-build QA)
• 4 quality scripts (visual diff, responsive screenshot capture, dark mode verification, PHP dead code detection)
• Comprehensive documentation and contributing guidelines

Recent merges: PR #9 backported 27 cross-domain agents, 6 hooks, and 4 quality scripts from the Coding Framework project. PR #24 completed the rename from CC-WP-Template to Flavian across the codebase.

v1.1.0 — Due April 30, 2026

The focus for v1.1.0 is filling gaps in the developer experience and making the project easier to adopt:

• Better documentation (Docker troubleshooting, MCP setup with screenshots, CHANGELOG)
• Additional CI workflows (PHPCS on PRs, pre-commit hooks)
• Automated tests for the Figma-to-WordPress pipeline scripts
• Canva-to-WordPress conversion support
• Security audit agent improvements with dependency scanning
• Docker image build optimization with layer caching
• Block pattern library with starter templates
• Agent configuration validation on startup
• Good-first-issue labeled starter tasks for new contributors
• Rename all internal Claude-WP-Scaffold references to Flavian ✅ Done (PR Rename all internal CC-WP-Template references to Flavian #24)

v2.0.0 — Due July 31, 2026

v2.0.0 is a major expansion beyond the core FSE theme workflow:

• Remote deployment agent for staging and production environments
• WooCommerce support in block theme scaffold
• Visual regression testing integration
• Plugin scaffold generator
• Performance budget enforcement in CI
• Interactive CLI setup wizard
• Headless WordPress and decoupled frontend support
• WordPress multisite network support
