Select your local Wi-Fi IP only giving 127.0.0.1

While this is a problem with the Foundry Companion App I'm unsure of where else to post it.

I just recently updated to the newest version hoping it'd fix the ssl issues. It seems it probably does but I still can't get it to work. I noticed that the GoDice Companion App was giving 192.0.0.2 which doesn't seem to be my private ip but instead related to my carrier or something because my understanding of ips from 192.0.0.1 to 192.0.0.255 are that they're reserved. I also looked up my pc's ip and it's not 192.0.0.2.

For this reason I decided to disable my cellular plan based upon another comment. I now get this screen:

But when I click on it the dropdown caret simply disappear but I'm unable to type or anything.

I've tried turning off my VPN, and turning off these settings in my Wi-Fi settings but still now luck:

(this was the state of the settings when I started but I change it to all 4 possible configurations here and still no luck)

I don't know what else to do to troubleshoot this, sorry. I'm not the best at networking.
