Hi

Just did a test on Audio only and the only one I can download is m4a where as mp3, wav and aac do not work even though I have FFmpeg installed. Can you please fix it?

I have version Version 1.1.7 (18) installed.

It would be nice if there is a notification for update in the app.

Thanks for your feedback. Currently, the app requests the specified format from YouTube and will only succeed in downloading if YouTube offers that format for that particular video. I am looking into solutions to automatically convert the downloaded content to the requested format.

There should be an alert that appears when attempting to download with an unavailable format. I'll let you know when a new version is available.

Thanks for the reply, to convert to other audio formats other than m4a you would require ffmpeg, cannot you use on your app? Something like

youtube-dl -x --audio-format mp3 --audio-quality 0 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxxxxxx

@next2non Please let me know how the latest pre-release version works for you. Note that currently it just displays an alert if an unsupported format is requested, though I am working on a larger update that may address a few things you mentioned.

Just tested the new version 1.1.8 and now I do get the notification of unsupported format. Will wait for the larger update that you mentioned.

If you are doing a big update then is it possible to add a video/audio quality selector e.g. video 480, 720, 1080 (for the mp4 at least). Also, if there is a way for a quick integration between the clipboard and your app, that it just detects the clipboard and copies it automatically into your app, rather that the manual copy paste.

@next2non I have published a new pre-release version. A few of the things you've mentioned are included, though I've only added a few features so far.

If you would like to check out the pre-release version, please let me know what you think of it. Keep in mind that it's not entirely stable, and also that I intend to add more features before the final release.

Hi,

Downloaded it and tested it. The app crashes if for example other than Auto or mp4 video converting is selected. As for audio if I select anything except auto it will crash as well.

Another suggestion if I may, when I paste a link and download, sometimes I would like to paste another link so I can download multiple video or audio, but currently I have to wait till the first one finishes before I could continue with another one. It would be helpful especially if video is big and takes some time to download.
