What methods should be used to establish a better connection between the Agent and the BaseHalf?

I’m currently considering Agent.md, but it doesn’t seem to be the optimal solution.

• This adds a composable primitive, not a task-specific or AI-orchestration feature.
• This doesn't require bh to call an LLM or do agent orchestration.
• This doesn't require bh to modify user files (.md, .pdf, …) without explicit user action.

Better ways to connect them 👇

1. 🔌 MCP Server — Best option
   Give the Agent a phone line to BaseHalf. It can call BaseHalf anytime, ask questions, and get live answers back. This is the modern standard and works really well.
2. 📋 Smarter files than AGENT.md
   Instead of one flat text file, use a structured file (like JSON) that's easier for the Agent to read and stays up to date automatically.
3. 🛠️ Tool List / Function Contract
   Give the Agent a menu of actions it's allowed to do in BaseHalf. It picks from the menu instead of guessing. Clean and predictable.
4. 📢 Event System
   BaseHalf shouts "hey, something changed!" and the Agent listens and reacts. Like a notification system between the two.
5. 🗃️ Shared Notepad
   Both the Agent and BaseHalf read and write to the same place (a small database or file). Simple and easy to debug.
