Works fine so far. (Insular as work-profile manager)
Network permission for Play services only necessary for registration.

It´s possible to block most external (non Trade Republic) domains via DNS/Firewall (e.g. Rethink), especially firebase domains. Does not affect usability.

@spring-onion nope, the app tells me in the face that they wont allow the connection.
Registrations fail at the last step and logins are not possible.
I sadly already moved to a stock OS now so I can't reproduce the error any more.
I was on a Pixel 7a.

It looks like they don't properly enforce it. I'm not sure how I was able to do it, but after receiving the message that I couldn't use the app due to unofficial software, I went to the website and pressed the button to contact in-app support.

After opening and closing the app a few times, I was able to get the normal support form. Then I simply closed the app. After opening it again, I was able to use it normally.

It's now day 2, and it looks like the app stopped blocking my phone somehow.

I've asked a few people and they are not experiencing any issues, but they are not new customers; they have been using the app for a while. I need more feedback, I'll keep an eye out.

The app works fine if you completed the setup on a previous version. If you want to log in on the current version (after wiping your phone or clearing the app storage) you'll experience issues.

However, you can bypass it as I mentioned previously.

The app (at least the most recent version 4.2615.0) seems to use Play Integrity on the second and every consecutive start. Will logging in still works account creation gets blocked after inputting your phone number.

Do confirm this. Four weeks ago, after an app upgrade I was kicked out with "Access Denied" as to be seen above. I had to switch from my PIXEL 9a with GrapheneOS to a an old stock rom smartphone to reclaim my TR account. I now tried the latest TR app version Vs. 4.2616.2 with my Pixel in a sandboxed Google Play Services user profile, as I had earlier.
The prob persists. It does not matter if I install the app from Aurora or the Google Playstore. Same happens with LineageOS: "Access Denied".
