MGSAltTabPatch

This is an ASI plugin for the MGS Master Collection's Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 PC ports. It enables MGS2 & MGS3 to properly ALT+Tab without minimizing, and prohibits the game from forcibly pausing when unfocused.

Recommended for those who wish to play when not tabbed in, useful when streaming from OBS, Discord, etc.

Installation

  1. Download the latest Ultimate ASI Loader from here: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/Ultimate-ASI-Loader/releases/download/x64-latest/d3d11-x64.zip
  2. Put d3d11.dll from Ultimate ASI Loader into your MGS2/MGS3 directory
  3. Download the latest MGSAltTabPatch from here: https://github.com/Psi-Hate/MGSAltTabPatch/releases
  4. Put MGSAltTabPatch.asi into your MGS2/MGS3 directory
