add_to_quarto.R script cancelled the link-external-newwindow option

Hi,
Thanks for this great package. I'm using it in the materials of a new course I'm writing in quarto and when I used your (great) add_to_quarto.R script my exercises work nicely but it seems to have cancelled the option for send links to a new window (link-external-newwindow: true), both in the yml and the qmd files.

Any hints to fix that?

To identify if a link is external you need to specify a site-url
