Write Data Collector development tutorial

Could whoever has developed a data collector (Mirko? Caleb? provide a tutorial on how to develop a data collector?

For now we only have 2 documents related to this in the wiki:

Please, generate this documentation as a new page on the Wiki: "How to develop a Data Collector" (maybe is a combination of the other 2 documents) and then add the document to the Developers area in the SideBar and the Home page

The data collectors are (in general) independent and the only interface to the RISCOSS platform is the RESTful API that gives the possibility to write data into the Risk Data Repository (RDR). This API was developed by XWIKI time ago and is documented in their Deliverables. Its description (including a small JAVA Api that facilitates the management of the REST JSon messages) can also be found here:

Possibly XWiki can republish the instructions on github if needed.
