I have noticed if i click sort, it will incorrectly sort certain items in invalid slots, which can easily be done by mistake.
When this happens, sometimes certain modded items like backpacks and such will completely dissapear.

My suggestion is add more compatibility with other mods, specially those in Better MC and make sure that the slots are very clear on what they map onto. For example, I should not be allowed to put a chesplate in the pants position, and for compatibilities, same logic, for certain slots, only a specific set of items is allowed there.

For what you're suggesting, we'd have to create custom slots and inventory managed client-side, something I've considered at some point, but I think the mod's main advantage is that it's server-side only and doesn't require the client to have it to function correctly, and that would be lost.
