[RFC] Assets are coming from static repository

Issue

The assets such as Profile pic on this website are being fetched from the static assets repository. Thus, it creates a problem for users being unable to upload their profile pictures for this specific site.

The image appears in the navbar

This issue might require integration from both the front-end and back-end.

Please let me know if anything else might be possible here.
