Rejected by Twitter, sort of

I never applied to work at Twitter nor ever worked there, but I did present my proposal for the hashtag to Biz Stone in August of 2007 and he rejected it, arguing that it was "too nerdy" to ever take off. He certainly wasn't wrong that it was nerdy!
