Description: After a successful installation of RetroBat and an initial boot where games were visible and functional, all installed content (ROMs, BIOS, and metadata) vanished upon the next launch or system restart. The folders appear empty or reverted to a default state, despite the initial setup being completed.
Steps to Reproduce:
Install RetroBat to [Insert your drive letter, e.g., D:\RetroBat].
Add ROMs/Content to the respective folders.
Launch RetroBat; confirm games are listed and playable.
Close RetroBat and [Restart PC / Relaunch the App].
Observe that the game list is empty and files are missing from the directory.
Expected Behavior: Installed content should remain persistent in the assigned directories across sessions.
Actual Behavior: The content disappears "without a trace," and the directory structure acts as if it has been reset or is looking at the wrong path.
