Public polls for tracking features

Can some polls be created to get an overall sense of features people want?
might help free up and also combine some of the fractured ideas and threads?

i don't know if a poll alone will guarantee a specific part being worked on first... unfortunately parts can only be worked on as quickly as there is someone with enough knowledge and skills to step up and begin work. some of the main components still don't have any volunteers or anyone knowledgeable.

Currently the focus is on main aspects of the design that are absolutely necessary like power and audio.

However a poll won't hurt, so what software do you propose? GH has a limit of 8 options, Discord 10 options. Perhaps it would be best to get a Discord bot.

One problem I see is that online poling is easy to be cheesed/faked by a bad actor and there is no way around it.

Those are all very valid points...

I guess I was thinking more in terms of a way for the community to decide together on how import certain features like NFC, Camera spec, wireless charging, Android or Linux with Android App support, screen size etc are and the overall functionality people want in their phones..

You are right V3, polls can be easy to fudge.. Im not sure how we would get around that, I guess GH and Discord limit users to x1 vote each but i think people can change their votes... however if we are all working towards a phone that we all want, it would be in everyones best interest not to mess with the polls... perhaps a time limit could be applied to them?

thats a shame, for the OSM-Phone (as it is just me working on it) I am constantly learning - for example after realising that a 2 layer pcb would not be good enough I have been studying 4 layer design, along with refreshing my knowledge of USB, HDMI and PCIe pcb traces and watching every instructional video I can find about EMF, EMI and compliance testing designs that fail..

Is there a collated list of what needs working on? I could only find a couple of Issues here on GH such as power and audio - are they the ones you guys are stuck on?

Everything is in the issues, main things are: chassis, power, audio, gsm.

Currently no one is working on the gsm section as it seems the hardest. I plan to start working on it, ASAP when I finish audio.

To be honest I don't really feel stuck, I feel like progress is steady!
