Hello, it would be nice to point the mod to a local folder for skins instead of only having cloud option. Thanks

Right now my mod can’t support loading skins from local folders because the whole system was originally designed around a cloud-based, fully client-side pipeline (similar to Figura).
Supporting local directories would require rewriting most of the core loading logic, so it’s currently outside the scope of what I can implement.

But if you need local-folder skin support, a friend of mine has actually made a mod that provides this feature really well.
I’m sharing it here in case it’s helpful — his project is a solid option if you want local skin directories
