A few ideas

• It would be nice to have the possibility to ping a range when added to detect hosts that are alive.
• And/or a ping button next to every host to check it's alive
• Automatically get the Hostname from a host
• Possibility to check a list of ports for listening services?

This would make it possible to add a range and automatically add a bunch of hosts in 1 go
(maybe it is already on the todo list)

I love the simplicity of this product. Thank you for taking the time to put something like this together. I literally just got it running (on my UNRAID server), So I am not up to speed on all of the features available. The ideas @croontje mentioned would be helpful. Another idea I had was a way to upload a spreadsheet to populate the data. Assuming that most people use spreadsheets to track this data, it would be awesome to allow for uploading existing data to populate the IPs in your product.

I am not a software engineer, but I will take a look at how complicated it would be to integrate the ability to upload a .xls to populate the port and description for a matching IP.
