Could I add other decision trees into Shark?

I'm familiar with pruning algorithm of C4.5 and cart trees.
I have a python-repository https://github.com/appleyuchi/Decision_Tree_Prune 
It take much time to write the C style-code and merge into Shark.
I want to ask if it is allowable add such features into it.
