As long as I'm not already remembering incorrectly the show ticket said it was being put into the key items when being purchased in Fourside, but it was still put into my inventory regardless. I could also swear it's meant to be consumed when used but I suppose I could be wrong on that part, though it's worth noting it wasn't consumed when I used it either, though I did use it through the game doing it automatically by pressing A.
