Can not change Baudrate in config file.

When I change the Baudrate in the /etc/uic/uic.cfg file, it doesn't work.

I have to change the Baudrate in zwapi_open_serial_port() function in zwapi_serial.c and rebuild.

Thanks for reporting, what about if the value is passed as argument of zpc CLI ?

I meant as a run arg:

build/applications/zpc/zpc --zpc.serial=(...) zpc.baudrate=$value

Is it a regression?

Because the only place i see trace of zpc.baudrate is in:

Should it be (re)introduced in:

z-wave-protocol-controller/applications/zpc/components/zpc_config/src/zpc_config.c

It should be trivial to add, if needed a debconf file can add handle user input too

i am facing this issue, (support ticket 00326533)
i tried the suggested "run arg" zpc --zpc.serial=/dev/ttyACM1 zpc.baudrate=460800 however stty shows the baudrate did not change.

the only way to have it working is patching zwapi_serial.c, however i am also having the issue that the bootloader on our units on the field is configured with 115200. so i would need a way to configure a different baudrate for bootloader vs serialapi.

i have no issues with testing a patch or developing one myself if i get some hints what the smartest approach would be.

Well apparently that part is covered in test_config_file by:

$ gdb build/_deps/unifysdk-build/components/uic_config/test/uic_config_test

You will see it run that test

I will look at related functions and run zpc and break on them

Do you know when the regression has been introduced ?

The test is reading the configuration file, not the value that it's actually in use.
