currently rendering :H! as :He and :C! as :Ne. good enough for current examples, but would like to annotate the figure somehow, so the atoms can be rendered as their normal species, but the masking is still visually indicated.
Bio3DView has Cylinder objects that work, but disappear due to the "only one mesh" bug.
It is possible to add text annotations, but would the same bug make it a moot point?
