How to edit comments?

Hi Carl,

probably a user issue, but how can I edit commit messages? When I move to the commit message and want to edit something, whenever I hit a shortcut key (p,r,e,s,f...) , the shortcut action is performed rather than the corresponding character inserted.

Is this on the rebase TODO itself or afterwards when rewording a commit? If it's the latter it's a problem with my extension.

If you edit the message there it has no effect, it's kind of only a preview of your rebase. You can press r to reword the commit, then afterwards during the rebase the editor should open for rewording it.

This is the normal functionality though with git rebase.
