Mini-Video-Player is not Open Source #7

@abetusk

Description

@abetusk

In the README for the Mini Video Player project, there is a header which reads:

Open Source Mini Video Player

But the license is a "non-commercial" creative commons license (specifically CC-BY-NC (3.0)).

The "non-commercial" clause of the license makes this project not open source.

"Open Source" has a generally accepted meaning of being able to use the digital artifacts for commercial purposes. The OSI and Wikipedia's entry on open-source licensing both articulate that commercial re-use is a (generally accepted) requirement of an "open source" license.

Someone using your project in good faith for commercial purposes might incorrectly think they would be allowed to do so because of your statements that the project is "open source".

Please remove the references to the project being open source.
