Peak CAN Driver

Would it be possible to add support for a hardware type, such as Peak CAN?

Something similar to how it's handled in the python-can library.

one option for PEAK with CAN++ is already possible right now:
Connect PEAK hardware to a Linux device like a Raspberry Pi and then with CAN++ to the Linux device via TCP/IP. Most Linux Distributions already provide the PEAK linux driver which makes the hardware visible via SocketCAN. CAN++ comes with this little can2win server which runs then on the Linux device to which CAN++ connects.
We used this with that 6-channel PEAK CANFD boxes. It worked fine.

Other option would be to integrate PEAK CAN Basic API or that other paid API's into CAN++. A couple of years ago I already implemented this with PCAN Basic API but it had limitations and I gave it up (don't remember the reasons). Unfortunately I have not PEAK hardware either currently.
