How to add date/datetime values as chips?

I am working with form data and using ChipInput for taking multiple values. I have date and datetime fields, and was looking for some way to add multiple date and datetime values by using selection palette provided by @material-ui/pickers or in recent (5.0.0 - alpha release) of react-material. Would be a great feature if it can be added in material-ui-chip-input
