Content Types get lost on upgrade or re-install of H5P Extension

Hi, is there any chance to backup, re-locate or re-activate Content Types on upgrade or re-install of the H5P Extension? Please advise, otherwise it is not really feasible to properly maintain a Typo3 site with multiple H5P CTs. Thank you
